Training. Standards. Peer Network. Focused on Officer & Community Safety

The South Carolina Tactical Officers Association (SCTAC) is a nonprofit association committed to advancing high‑quality training, shared standards, and trusted collaboration for tactical officers across South Carolina. As a newly established nonprofit, we are dedicated to building a strong foundation for our members a

To equip South Carolina’s tactical officers with evidence‑based training, shared standards, and a trusted peer network—improving outcomes for officers and the communities they serve.
High‑risk incidents are rare but consequential. Consistent, high‑quality training and shared lessons learned reduce preventable harm and strengthen public trust.
Statewide training, credential tracking, incident debriefs, leadership development, and a professional network that spans agencies and regions.
Municipal police departments, sheriff’s offices, state agencies, tactical medics, crisis negotiators, and ultimately the residents of South Carolina.

As a new membership‑based non-profit, SCTAC is building a statewide network that empowers tactical officers with access to training, credential management, debriefs, and professional development opportunities. Your support helps us establish essential services and resources that directly benefit agencies and communities across South Carolina.
We welcome institutional grants and sponsorships to help us expand statewide training access and professional resources for agencies with limited budgets.
